We know that everyone in this community
knows someone that has been affected by Sexual Violence, based
on Maine Statistics 1 in 4 Mainers will be a victim of some form
of Sexual Violence.
The agency needs the help and support of
committed community members who have made it clear that
services are truly needed, one of these committed community
members is Peter MCavoy of Oakland who has generously donated
$10,000 to assist in setting up a Sexual Assault Center in the
Waterville area and has offered to match any donations to the
agency up to another $10,000. Anyone interested in helping this
agency to provide these services that help to minimize the
trauma of sexual violence to woman, children & men can send a
tax deductible donation to Sexual Assault Crisis & Support
