September 21, 2019 Augusta Civic Center 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM What to Expect: The Celebrity Waiter Dinner is our major fundraiser/awareness event of the year and is a fun and helpful way to support those affected by sexual violence. Last year, this event raised nearly $60,000! A large part of the fundraising for this event is done by our fabulous Celebrity Waiters. Each of our celebrities have a goal to earn a minimum of $200 in "tips". These "tips" are donations to the Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center. Our hardworking, multi-talented celebrities will be available throughout the evening to serve and entertain you. Your "tips" will help them reach their goal as they strive to win Highest Fundraising Celebrity "Table of the Night" and support the efforts of SAC&SC. Dressing in theme - Roaring 20's is encouraged but not required. RAFFLE TICKETS We are selling raffle tickets for both a Kayak and a 10' x 16' shed. The Kayak is being donated by the Maine State Troopers Foundation and the shed is being donated by Asset Development, Inc. & New England Rent to Own. Please call our office at 207-377-1010 FMI.

How to Use Mobile Bidding

Bid, donate, and buy items in an easy and fun way while supporting an important cause!

Bid anywhere, on any device with an internet connection.

Here's how:

First go to bidpal.net/twenties and register or buy your ticket to the event.  You will be prompted to set up a password.  If you are not coming and just want to bid on silent auctions, remember that anything you win must be picked up at our Winthrop office.

When the silent auction opens, you will receive a text message with a link to start bidding.

The home screen offers several ways to search for auction items and update your profile.

Placing a bid is easy!

Confirm your bid and set a maximum bid to allow the system to automatically place bids on your behalf up to the maximum amount.

Your profile icon gives you access to your activity, receipt, contact info and credit card.

Access your activity from the menu or profile icon to see items you've bid on, won, or are watching.

Keep an eye on the color-coded icons indicating your current bidding status.

A green check mark indicates that you are the current high bidder!

An exclamation mark means you have been outbid and a horizontal line through a circle means that bidding is over.

Outbid alerts and texts let you know when to jump back in and bid.

At the end of the silent auction, check your activity to see what you've won.

If you have a balance due, add a credit card and quickly settle up!

Be sure to email yourself a receipt and don't forget to charge your smart phone before coming!

Happy Bidding!
